A photojournalist with more that two decades experience, Michael McWeeney specializes in travel, documentary, and corporate photography. Mostly self-taught, he studied advertising design at New York City Technical College and photojournalism at Parson’s New School for Design, and for 15 years he worked as a photojournalist at the Staten Island Advance. A long-time contributor to our auction and exhibitions, his video documentary about the raising of the Bayonne Bridge was part of the museum’s exhibition, Lifespan: The Bayonne Bridge in Transition and his work is included in Robbins Reef Lighthouse: A Home in the Harbor. McWeeney designed the museum’s website and those of other organizations; he works on fashion and advertising shoots and continues to build his portfolio and develop long-term documentary projects. michaelmcweeney.com
